Does Canon Pay the Bills Biblically?

A common misconception regarding most Christian ministries is that, if you simply ask them for free access to some ministry content they produce, they’ll give it quickly and happily, especially to missionaries or the needy in other countries. Sometimes people use this as a justification for the Jesus trade, saying that if they are willing to give when people ask, then it’s OK not to freely give in the first place. But even this kind of limited generosity is rare. So we tried asking Canon Press, which was founded as a literature ministry. On their own website they say explicitly that their function is to outfit Christians everywhere with tools to live like Christ is Lord over every aspect of life. This is our email interaction.
